A little monster movie from 1999, Virus was made quite a while after the original screenplay was penned. At the time, it wasn't quite as possible to do the kinds of special effects that horror movie would be required, so it was made into a Dark Horse comic instead. Eventually, the (blog post) story would be put to the film - but at what cost?
